True Wolf: What does it mean to be wild?

There’s no spoiler alert, just portraying how wonderful the circle of life really is. True Wolf follows the life of Koani, an abandoned wolf who became an ambassador for her species and changed the lives of so many people that don’t have much knowledge on the actual specie. It weaves the story of life with Koani into the larger issue of humanity’s relationship with the wolf and wildness. When the couple took in Koani, the fact that a wolf living with them, shapes how they live. So I could relate to both Bruce Weide and Pat Tucker because I, too, go through such life changes with my wolfdog, Soul daily. In the end, the documentary takes the time to explore the ethical concerns inherent in raising a wild animal, resulting in offering plenty of food for thought afterwards.
